Rank algorithm update from google weeded out a lot of good or bad websites, the reason cited is that google wanted to provide more relevant results, google engineers published blog post which indicated there were 11.8% organic search results will be affected, in another word, google thinks about 12% of it’s search results are really bad and need to manipulated. Google started this change almost one year ago, maybe that’s why some of my ranks dropped out of first 10 pages, the good thing is that those keywords promoted by content rich links are not affected, some of the keywords even ranked better than before, it’s obvious that link building the old way is the thing of past, probably due to links crammed sites being de-indexed by google.
What is old way of link building any way? a large percentage of SEO firms will do this, they add your links to those linking websites without context, the only updates on those websites are the new links, it’s safe to assume all of them are trash, the name of link spamming sites is justified. New google algorithm most likely will punish these link spammers, all the links on those websites will have the same fate.
Let’s check out a few examples. In the very beginning, I didn’t know better, I started with this keyword, Ratchet Binders, at that time almost every body was doing plain linking campaign, a lot of sites I used had too many links, and the worst thing is that those sites are linking sites only and had no content, not even crap content. In the beginning, the ranking of the keyword in question rise pretty fast, lately the keyword link stayed on the first page for a while, the honeymoon lasted until google changed it’s mind. Here is another keyword, chain pullers, we promoted this keyword with articles and blog posts, not too many plain links have been built, the rank for this keyword is making me real happy. Now contextual links win the battle, then what? It all boils down to content, as long as you dole out high quality content, your rank will improve over time, since search engines are another kind of readers. It’s never too late to build good blogs for business purpose, for instance let’s examine this one, kaiya eve pettiskirts , I build it as a hobby and kept adding good or mediocre content, it’s no way this site will rank, right?, actually, no, in reality this site is doing pretty well for more than a few search terms. As far as SEO concerned, creating quality content and blog marketing is what we have to do to get great result. If you can build a group of your own blogs, something like Grade 70 Chain, you will have the power to push any sites up in search engines.
Remember content is king, you just need to create content, share the content with people, and put your keywords in the context you’re good to go, this strategy will prevail in short or long term. Whatever you do, you will need persistence and patience, long term strategy is required to improve anything of significance, i.e., selling online or improve your search rankings, keep doing what we have to do till the end of world. When publisinh articles, I prefer ezine, a new article will be indexed and cached in less than an hour, of course your posts on some blogs will be indexed real fast as well, here I am going to show you an article in article directory or on a blog, like this Mini Load Binders , good writing, interesting content, indexed and cached, this article serves it’s purpose well.

One thing you can do for your blogs is to install twitter tools, then go ahead register a new twitter account and app, configure your twitter tools prpperly, you should choose to post a tweet for every new post, it’s easy and really useful, if you don’t use this tool it’s just too bad.

Google started this change almost one year ago, no wonder I saw a few of my keywords’ ranks dropped like a rock, but almost all the ranks promoted by articles and blog posts were not affected, a few of these keywords ranked better than ever, it’s obvious that linking campaign the old way is the thing of past, probably due to link spamming sites being de-indexed by google.
Now what on earth is plain link building and how do people do it? a large percentage of SEO firms will do this, they put your links on websites which only exist for holding links, these websites will only be updated when new links are being added, it’s safe to assume all of them are trash, the name link spamming are just for these sites. The latest google update will definitely downgrade most if not all of these sites, any links on them will be affected too.
Examples will be great for explanation. It was quite some time ago, I started promote the keyword, Transport Chains, of course with old way of link building, a lot of sites I used had too many links, and those sites had only links, no real content at all. Whatever you do, you will need persistence and patience, nothing will automatically improve overnight, it doesn’t matter you’re doing SEO or advertising your business, keep writing, publishing, sharing and creating, you will see the day of success. One of the best articles directories is EzineArticle, a new article will be indexed and cached in less than an hour, of course your posts on some blogs will be indexed real fast as well, I believe you should see for yourself, take Binder Chains as an example, quality content, nice presentation, indexed by google, all these points make it perfect for SEO.

The Twitter tools is a wordpress plugin, you can install it, sign up for a twitter account and create a new application, link your blog to twitter, you should choose to post a tweet for every new post, it’s simple and elegant, it’s a big loss if you don’t use this tool.
